Charity fashion show in partnership with Cancer Research Uk needs Volunteers!

Newsflash! Wiltshire Youth Action Team members needed.
What is a youth action team I hear you say?
It's a group of young people who would like to be involved in the development and running of the national youth volunteering programme vinvolved. It's made up of young people, like yourself, from across Wiltshire.
Why you should get involved?
- It's an excellent opportunity to get yourself some new experiences and gain new skills.
- It looks great on your CV!
- You'll meet new people and make new friends
- You gain national accreditation, awards and in some cases formal qualifications
- It will be FUN!!
What qualifications do you need to join?
None at all! All we ask is that you can join us for a few hours each month. Anyone aged 16 - 25 is welcome to apply.
What sort of things might I be doing?
We would like you to be involved at a level that suits you and your other commitments - so you can do some or all of the following activities. The main roles of the YAT are:
- Helping to recruit young volunteers
- Consultation with other young people to find out what sort of volunteering young people would like to do
- Work with local community groups / organisations to assess how they work with young people and make recomendations to them about how they can create volunteering opportunities which are appealing.
- Visit organisations to support them to ensure their volunteering is youth focused and innovative
- Organise celebration events
- Supporting the ongoing monitoring and feedback of the project
- Produce youth focused adverts and articles for TV, radio and press
- Attending events, conferences to represent youth volunteering in Wiltshire
- Come along on some great days out and take part in exciting residentials
